Staff Bio - ashley

    Please meet one of our Collection Officers, Ashley. Ashley grew up in two places: Concord with her mom and Alamo with her grandma. She moved to Walnut Creek three years ago with her boyfriend.

    Ashley’s first job was at Michael Anthony’s Gymnastics as a gymnastics coach. She was 14 years old when she started.

   Ashley has been banking with CD Federal since she was 10 years old. She got an A.A.S. in Accounting and wanted to gain banking experience so that she can advance in her career. She felt that CD Federal would be a good place to “sort of learn a little bit of everything.”

    When asked what her favorite thing about working for CD Federal is, she replied, “I really enjoy the work environment, mainly the staff. It really makes me want to get up and go to work in the morning. I like learning new things and mastering them quickly.”

    In her personal time, Ashley enjoys reading and swimming. She comments, “I hate watching TV there are always commercials. When you read a book, you choose when to stop. Sometimes I can go on for hours without putting a book down.” She also likes to spend time with her friends hanging around the house. Her all-time favorite thing to do is spend time with her sisters and boyfriend together.

    A fun fact that you may not know about Ashley is that she says, “I plan everything. I can’t be spontaneous and it is hard for me to handle when things don’t go the way I planned them to. I am very detail oriented.” We love that Ashley plans things out in her work schedule with us at the credit union and we are glad to have her as part of our team.
